We're excited to announce the lineup of live music planned for the Rensselaerville Cycling Festival. The Lustre Kings, Black Mountain Symphony and Emileigh Tanner will all be in town to make the party as epic as the riding!
The Lustre Kings play rock and roll the right way. The powerhouse Albany band has wowed crowds at Manhattan's Rodeo Bar, Seattle's Tractor Tavern and all points in between, and they've done it with uncommon fervor, commitment and flair. The group draws from a deeper well than most roots rock acts which gives their music depth while keeping the party hopping and the dance floor filled. Front man Mark will ride the Piccolo before his set!
BLACK MOUNTAIN SYMPHONY
Black Mountain Symphony recently opened for Rusted Root and showcases an eclectic range of influences blended together to create its own special sound. From baroque classical violin and haunting folk-tinged ballads to funk-rock drums and hard-hitting dance numbers, the band sprinkles its sets with hints of everything from classical music to Motown, blues and jazz.
The National Anthem will be sung by Rensselaerville's own Emileigh Tanner. Rising star Emileigh is the front woman for Renselaerville's own Peckham Hollow Band, regularly charming the crowds at various packed local venues.
